Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard was looking to try out a new product. The product, Sweet Potato Fries … What they needed was a way to tell people about the product. A concept was created called FryDay. To create a buzz and an awareness about the new product a series of emails were created that were blasted to the Good Times Loyalty Program email addresses. A total of 6 emails were sent out over a period of three weeks. These emails featured a two part cartoon called Fry vs. Fry. The first part was sent out on Monday with a message stating that tomorrow is FryDay. The second part was sent out Tuesday (FryDay) concluding the cartoon as well as messaging telling the consumer to come into any Good Times and get a free order of Sweet Potato Fries with the purchase of a drink. To complement the email campaign, all of the cartoons were posted to their Facebook page each FryDay.
